CALENDAR FOR SLU'S FANFARE, WEEK FIVE
Oct. 26
     7:30pm: Picnic-n-Pops, featuring the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Phillip Manuel
and Leah Chase. Doors open at 5 p.m., SLU University Center. Tickets: $5 general admission, $3 
students 13 years and over; students under 12 free.
Oct. 27
     3:30-5:30pm: Ernest Gaines, booksigning, Bayou Booksellers,  204 E. Thomas St.,
Hammond, La.
     7:30pm: The Four Montains, SLU danceworks, Vonnie Borden Theatre, SLU. Tickets:
$5 general admission, $3 senior citizens/SLU faculty and staff/non-SLU students, SLU students
free with I.D.
     7:30pm: Ernest Gaines, readings from A Lesson Before Dying, Pottle Music Building
Auditorium, SLU. Tickets: $6 general admission, $4 senior citizens, SLU faculty/staff, all
students.
Oct. 28
     3:30pm: Foreign Film Festival, Carmen, Music Recital Hall, SLU.
     7:30pm: Moses Hogan Chorale, Pottle Music Building Auditorium, SLU. Tickets: $10
general admission, $8 senior citizens, $6 SLU faculty & staff/all students.
Oct. 29
     7pm: Special Film Festival, Michael Collins, SLU University Cinema, 1006 N. Oak St.,
Hammond, La.

     7:30pm: SLU Music Faculty Gala, Pottle Music Building Auditorium.
