25 AREA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS COMPLETE 
TUITION-FREE COLLEGE COURSES AT SOUTHEASTERN 

     HAMMOND   This summer, 25 area high school students completed college credit
courses at Southeastern Louisiana University under the university's Superior High School Junior
Program.
     The program allows qualified students who have completed their junior year in high
school to enroll in up to two courses per semester, giving them an opportunity to gain a head start
on college courses. For the first time this summer, the university absorbed the cost of tuition for
the courses under a new tuition waiver scholarship opportunity.
     Students participating in the program this summer were:
     EAST BATON ROUGE: Lisa Marie Paternostro of Greenwell Springs.
     EAST FELICIANA: Curtiss M. Vidrine of St. Francisville.
     LIVINGSTON PARISH: William M. Harrison of Livingston.
     ST. TAMMANY: Kevin J. Alley of Covington; Jennifer L. Replogle of Madisonville.
