SLU SUMMER REGISTRATION UNDERWAY JUNE 3-4
HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University's summer 2002 semester will open
June 5. Meanwhile, students still have time to apply and register for summer classes.
Current students who pre-registered for the summer session can drop and add courses May
28-31 and must pay their fees by 4:30 p.m. on May 31.
New students and those who did not register early will sign up for summer classes June 3-
4. Meanwhile, they can check the university web site -- www.selu.edu -- for their summer
registration appointment times and view available courses.
"If you have already applied, click on the 'LEO' icon on Southeastern's home page, then
'LEONet-Students' link, and log on with your University ID and password," said Paulette Poche,
director of Records and Registration. "If you have not applied, you can still browse the class
offering by logging in as a guest. We're looking forward to seeing you this summer."
New, returning or transfer students will find admission applications online on
Southeastern's "Prospective Students" page.
"Students can also visit our office in North Campus Building B," Sam Domiano, director of
Admissions and Financial Aid. "We'll be happy to guide them through the admissions and
financial aid application procedures."
Southeastern students can apply and register from any computer with Internet access,
including computers in campus computer labs and at the university's St. Tammany Center,
located
at the St. Tammany Parish Government Complex on Koop Drive off Hwy. 59 north of Abita
Springs, and the Baton Rouge Campus, 4849 Essen Lane.
Entering freshmen will register for summer classes during Freshman Orientation, June 3-4.
The university will host Freshmen Orientation sessions this summer for students who will begin
their college studies this fall.
For additional information on applying and registering, call 1-800-222-7358 or 985-549-
