Matthew "Pete" Schneider III of Slidell, is part of the House Special Committee on Disaster Planning, Crisis Management, Recovery and Long-Term Revitalization. The meeting will be held in Vonnie Borden Theatre in Southeastern's D Vickers Hall, 1220 SGA Drive.        The meeting is designed to receive testimony from local officials, emergency responders and the public. Legislative assistants will be available to assist the public during the meeting. Individuals will also be able to complete request cards for follow-up assistance.        Members of the committee will tour the hurricane-affected area prior to the scheduled meeting.
