SLU STUDENT ART SHOWS TO OPEN IN GALLERY, LIBRARY
     HAMMOND -- Two exhibits at Southeastern Louisiana University will feature the works
of graduating seniors and students in the university's art classes.
     The Senior Exhibit opens with a reception from 4-6 p.m., Nov. 14, in Clark Hall Gallery.
     Seniors exhibiting their works are Lori Crais and Kahra Martinez, Hammond; Alisa
LaGroue, Ponchatoula; Michelle McCormick, Albany; Laura Richardson, Holden; Shannon
Bonnecarre, Covington; Christopher Morse, Mandeville; James Packard, Baton Rouge; Kimberly
Chappetta, New Orleans, and Angela Zabala, Kenner.
     Works by approximately 30 students from Southeastern art classes have been chosen for
the Juried Student Show, which will be on exhibit in Sims Memorial Library. The show's
opening reception is scheduled for 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15. 
     Winners are Shannon Montgomery of Covington, first place; Michael Aldana of
Mandeville, second place, and Nancy Chambless of New Orleans, third place.
     Both shows will be open through December 8. For additional information, call Gallery
