SLU, SOUTHERN, SUNO OPEN JOINT EXHIBIT JAN. 30
HAMMOND -- "South by Southeast," an exhibit by faculty members from Southeastern
Louisiana University, Southern University and Southern University at New Orleans, will be on
display Jan. 30-Feb. 28 at Southeastern's Clark Hall Gallery.
The exhibit opens with a reception from 4-7 p.m. Jan. 30, said gallery director Don
Marshall.
"South by Southeast" marks a second joint venture in the arts between Southeastern and
Southern. Last December, Clark Hall Gallery hosted "The Art of Africa," an exhibit of African
art from Zaire on loan from SUNO's Bertrand Collection. President Sally Clausen has said that
Southeastern is encouraging such collaborative programs benefitting students and the community
alike.

Horenkamp-Simonton, Ron Kennedy, Rancy Boyd-Snee, Brian Kelly and Catherine Schieve of
Baton Rouge.

From Southern -- Robert Cox, Addie Dawson-Euba, Randall Henry and Martin Payton.
