HAMMOND August 5-11 will mark the second year of Southeastern Louisiana
University's Southeast Dance Festival, an intensive residential contemporary dance workshop

a fast moving class starting with a full body warm-up, center work, across the floor and "one
funked up combination;" Partnering, Composition and Performance, a hands-on approach to
learning how to partner and choreograph with another dancer and a performance in the
COREConcert; Company Repertory and Performance, an intense workshop of learning repertory
from SKIP COSTA/COREmovement PROJECT-NYC's "a house with No Exits."
The festival will also feature Saturday workshops in video project, exploring what dance
is like on the camera, and contemporary dance styles, an exploration of various dance styles
incorporated into contemporary dance.
