HAMMOND – High School seniors and their parents are invited to Southeastern Louisiana University’s “Senior Day 2002," Saturday, October 12. The informal and entertaining introduction to the university is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the War Memorial Student Union. Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to take campus tours, meet Southeastern students, faculty, and staff, and learn about academic programs, admissions procedures and financial aid opportunities. The seniors and their guests will also be treated to free food, give-aways and door prizes, said Erin Rosata, admissions counselor. They also will be able to sample the new Student Activity Center’s services, such as state-of-the-art exercise equipment, running track, basketball and racquetball courts. “Dress casual and bring or wear your tennis shoes,” Rosata said.
