SBDC OFFERS SEMINAR GOVERNMENT SALES 
     HAMMOND   The Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana
University will host "Selling to the Government" Thursday, February 21 at the Southeastern
University Center.
     From 9 to 11:30 a.m., participants will learn to understand how the government buys,
identify government agencies and prime contractors that buy what is sold, obtain marketing
strategies in marketing business to government, obtain government bid leads, and understand all
registrations associated with government contracting and requirements for government programs
available to businesses. 
     The speaker will be Cindy Carrier, procurement coordinator for Southeast Resource
Center.  
     The seminar is sponsored by the Hammond Area Chamber of Commerce, Southeastern
SBDC and the Southeast Resource Center/LA PTAC. 
     Registration is $5.  For further information or to register in advance, call SBDC at 985-
549-3831.  Registration is also available beginning at 8:30 a.m. the day of the seminar.
