| SBDC SPONSORS SEMINAR ON DEVELOPING SMALL BUSINESSES
HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s Small Business Development Center, along with SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business," Resource Bank, St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce, and the U.S. Small Business Administration, is sponsoring a one-day seminar May 17 for individuals planning to start a business or improve an existing business. The seminar will include detailed presentations that will include how to obtain financing, legal aspects of starting and structuring a business, licensing and permits, insurance recommendations, accounting requirements including taxes and fees, and marketing/sales recommendations. The seminar will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Covington Room Conference Center at the St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
