SLU, DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE SPONSOR RAD COURSE
     HAMMOND -- The Southeastern Louisiana University Police Department and the 21st
Judicial District Attorney's Office are joining forces to sponsor Rape Aggression Defense
(RAD), a special three-day program for women only on sexual assault awareness, prevention and
defense.
     The course is scheduled for 6-10 p.m., Friday, January 26; 2-6 p.m, Saturday, January 27,
and 3-7 p.m., Sunday, January 28, said Sgt. Patrick Gibson, University Police's community
education officer. Gibson said the course is free, but a $20 deposit is required to reserve a seat.
The deposit will be refunded upon attendance.
     Space is limited and registration is required. For information on the location of the classes
