PHI BETA LAMBDA STUDENTS WIN AT CONFERENCE
HAMMOND Members of Southeastern Louisiana University's chapter of Phi Beta
Lambda were among the winners at the state PBL Leadership Conference, held at Northwestern
State University in Natchitoches, March 24-25.
Fourteen Southeastern Phi Beta Lambda members competed in 17 events. Camie S.
Lopez of Hammond was chosen as the new student representative of the Louisiana State Phi Beta
Lambda board of directors. Economics professor Danielle Lewis is PBL adviser.
Eleven members will attend the PBL National Leadership Conference in Long Beach,
Calif., on July 13-16, representing Southeastern and the state.
State PBL winners were:
Patrick Ehrensing of Ponchatoula, second place, Desktop Publishing (team event) and
first place, Information Management;
Dillon Morse of Robert, second place, Business, Communications;
Camie S. Lopez of Hammond, second place, Desktop Publishing (team event);
Shane Hicks of Mandeville, first place Business Plan (team event);
Joshua Maier of Covington, second place, Accounting II;
William Trinchard of New Orleans, first place, Business Plan (team event);
Angela Smith of New Orleans, first place, Business Principles and Finance;
Nikki Landry of St. Amant, first place, Economics;
Stacey Baxter of Zachary, second place, Management;
Mel Robertson of Natchitoches, second place, Telecommunications;
Robbie W. Toney of xxxxx, first place, Accounting II and Quantitative Methods.
