SOUTHEASTERN NURSING STUDENTS HONORED
     HAMMOND -- Kristin Cole of Belle Chasse, Eric Richard of Thibodaux and Amy
David of Jarreau received Southeastern Louisiana University's College of Nursing and Health
Science's highest honor, the Deans Award, at the college's first annual honor's convocation held
April 26.
     Cole received the award from the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorder,
David from the Department of Nursing, and Richards from the Department of Kinesiology and
Health Studies. 
     Other students recognized at the event included:
     Denham Springs: Robin Leggett, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Graduate
Scholar Kathleen J. Bartels Award; and Melissa Reynolds, Nursing, St. Mary Agnes Fortier
Award.
     Hammond: Tiana Meyer, Nursing, Opal Carl Award.
     Baton Rouge: Janie Hatcher, Kinesiology & Health Studies, Arthur & Ester deVires
Endowed Scholarship; Dana Heil, Nursing, Evelyn Davis Award; Melanie Nutter, Nursing,
Graduate Scholar Award.
