LIONETTES SPONSOR DANCE CAMP AUG. 9-12
     HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University's dance team, the Lionettes, will
sponsor its annual summer camp for young dancers Aug. 9-12. 
     Scheduled for 8 a.m.-noon, the camp is open to young dancers ages four and older, said
Lionettes adviser Dana Brewer of Southeastern's dance faculty. High school dance teams are
welcome and can receive instruction as a unit, she said.
     The camp will take place in the Kinesiology and Health Studies Building dance studio,
Room 153, and participants will present demonstrations for family and friends each day at noon
at Vonnie Borden Theatre in D Vickers Hall.
     The cost of the camp is $35, plus $10 for a camp t-shirt. Participants should bring a
snack, but will be provided with beverages.
     Reservations are required and can be made by calling Brewer at 504-549-5254 or coming
to Room 153 in the Kinesiology and Health Studies Building.
