WOODY STEVENS WINS BEST IN SHOW IN SLU JURIED EXHIBIT
HAMMOND -- Woody Stevens, a sophomore art major from Hammond, won best of
show in the 1999 Juried Student Art Exhibition at Southeastern Louisiana University for his
print/mixed media work, "Typewriter Angels." The exhibit, sponsored by the Southeastern
Visual Arts Society, is on display through May 14 at Sims Memorial Library.
Awards also went to:
First Year Student Work: Michael McGill, Bush, first; Monica Hodges, Holden,
honorable mention.
Ceramics: Jennifer Loyd, Hammond, first; Angel James, Lacombe, honorable mention.

mention.
