SLU HONORS PROGRAM GRADUATES EARN CERTIFICATES
     HAMMOND -- Nine members of Southeastern Louisiana University's Fall 1996 graduating
class have earned "Certificates of Excellence" and "Honors Diplomas" through the Southeastern
Honors Program. 
     Recognized at Southeastern's Dec. 14 commencement exercises for earning both the
Certificate of Excellence and Honors Diploma were Southeastern Honors Program graduates
Matt D. Cornett of Ponchatoula, Ida Maria Susanna Harju of Hammond and Deborah A.
Verberne of Husser.
     Honors Program graduates who received  the Certificate of Excellence were Lori A. Behlar of
Summit, Miss., Melanie S. Bevere of Tickfaw, Rachel Adele Dowty of Hammond, Mark D.
Lemus of Mandeville, Michael J. McIntosh of Greenwell Springs and Alisa M. Watson of
Denham Springs.
