HANCOCK BANK DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS -- Hancock Bank of Louisiana has donated
$2,000 to Southeastern Louisiana University's Dollars for Scholars scholarship program. The
current recipient of the scholarship is sophomore communication major Emily Thompson,
daughter of David and M'Lou Thompson of Ponchatoula. Meeting recently with Thompson and
Southeastern President Sally Clausen were Hancock Bank of Louisiana President A. Bridges
Eglin and presidents of area banks currently merging with Hancock. From left, are Reggie Harper,
president Southeast National Bank of Hammond; Terry Adams, president of Community State
Bank of Hammond, Thompson; Clausen; Eglin; Robert E. Easterly, chairman of the board,
president and CEO of First National Bank of Denham Springs; and Joseph Simon, Southeastern
assistant vice president for development.
