SBDC OFFERS SEMINAR GOVERNMENT SALES 
     HAMMOND   The Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana
University and the Hammond Chamber of Commerce will host "Win Government Contracts --
Play by Play Marketing Strategies" April 18 in room 127 of the Southeastern University Center.
     From 10 a.m. to noon, Cindy Carter, procurement consultant for the Southeast Resource
Center in Denham Springs, will discuss topics such as the government customer, the government
language, getting started with registrations, small business programs, and locating government
markets. Topics also on the agenda is getting government agencies attention, proven marketing
strategy for success, protocol in dealing with buyers, what the buyer wants, and keys to
marketing.
