AREA PROFESSOR NAMED GRISHAM WRITER-IN-RESIDENCE -- Southeastern
Louisiana University English professor and widely published short story author Tim
Gautreaux was recently appointed to the University of Mississippi's prestigious John
and Renee Grisham Southern Writer-in-Residence position for the fall 1996
semester. Gautreaux,  recipient of the National Magazine Award for Fiction,  has
had short stories  published in Gentleman's Quarterly  magazine, Harper's, and Atlantic Monthly.
He will  return to teach at SLU next spring.
