HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University English professor and writer Tim

issue of Gentlemen's Quarterly magazine.
Gautreaux's writing is no stranger to this national magazine. Last year, GQ published his
short story "The Bug Man" which was selected for inclusion in the anthology "New Stories from
the South."
In addition to the men's magazine, the November issue of the prestigious Harper's
Magazine contains another short story by Gautreaux entitled "Deputy Sid's Gift." The Atlantic
Monthly also published his work last February and in 1991.
In April Gautreaux received the National Magazine Award for Fiction. A collection of his
short stories will be published by St. Martin's Press next year.
