SOUTHEASTERN FOREIGN LANGUAGE FESTIVAL WINNERS (ORLEANS AND
JEFFERSON)   Students from Orleans and Jefferson Parish schools who took first place in the
20th annual Southeastern Louisiana University Foreign Language Festival on April 9 were, from
left, front, Phylicia Goodman, John Ehret High School, Spanish Poetry I;  Katherine Bertrand,
De La Salle High School, French Extemporaneous Speaking Native Speaker; back, David Roux,
John Ehret High School, French Extemporaneous Speaking I; Kristen Williams, Archbishop
Chapelle High School, Spanish Prose IV; Fallon Walker, Archbishop Chapelle High School,
Spanish Prose III; Veronica Moore, St. Mary's Academy, French Prose I. More than 700 students
participated.
