SOUTHEASTERN GOLDEN AMBASSADOR   Southeastern Louisiana University President
Randy Moffett presents retired 21st Judicial District Judge Leon Ford III of Hammond with the
"Golden Ambassador Award" at the at the university's May 18 commencement ceremony. Ford,
a 1951 Southeastern graduate, received the prestigious award honoring his outstanding service,
achievement and/or humanitarian efforts. Ford's six-decade association with Southeastern
includes his and his family's endowment of the university's second endowed chair, the Leon Ford
Family Endowed Chair in Regional Studies.
