SOUTHEASTERN OFFERS OFF CAMPUS COURSES FOR THE FALL
HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University's fall registration is scheduled for Aug.
17-19 for all new students and those who did not pre-register. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 23.
In addition to the regular on-campus courses offered, Southeastern's Office of Continuing
Education and Special Activities is offering credit courses at several off-campus locations. Those
locations include
Tangipahoa Parish: Loranger, Ponchatoula and Sumner high schools.
Livingston Parish: Denham Springs, Holden and Walker high schools.
St. Tammany Parish: SLU Covington Center, Covington; Mandeville and Salmen high
schools, and Mandeville Junior High School.
Washington Parish: Louisiana Technical College Bogalusa campus and Franklinton High
School.
Baton Rouge: SLU Baton Rouge Center on Essen Lane.
St. John the Baptist Parish: East St. John High School.
Southeastern's Continuing Education also offers telecourses (compressed video courses) at
the Covington Center and the University Center in Hammond and several Internet courses.
Most off-campus classes are offered in the evenings and include basic freshman courses as
well as upper level courses.
Students who wish to register for off-campus courses may do so from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday
August 17 at the following locations: Denham Springs, East St. John or Franklinton high
schools; the SLU Covington Center, the Jefferson Parish Special Services Center and Louisiana
Technical College, Bogalusa campus.
