SOUTHEASTERN COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL REGISTRATION UNDERWAY IN HAMMOND
AND ST. TAMMANY
HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana Universitys
Community Music School is now registering children and adults for private
music instruction.
Director Kenneth Boulton said private instruction
is available in guitar, violin, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone,
trumpet, and percussion at the the Pottle Music Building Auditorium on
the university’s main campus and at the Southeastern St. Tammany Center,
located in the parish government complex on Koop Drive near Mandeville.
He said CMS also provides instruction
in voice and piano on the main campus.
CMS is offering an early registration
discount for those who sign up for spring semester lessons before Jan.
7. Lessons will begin the week of Jan. 24.
“We have flourishing string and guitar
programs at the St. Tammany Center, and we are interested in organizing
kindermusic classes for children under five years of age at both of our
locations,” Boulton said. “Don't miss an opportunity to give your child
or yourself the gift of music.”
Information, including a spring 2005
semester registration packet, is available online at www.selu.edu/cms.
