“CIRCLE” THE CLARIENTS FOR SOUTHEASTERN CONCERT
      HAMMOND – “Clarinetfest,” a special performance by Southeastern Louisiana University clarinet students, is scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, in the university’s Performance Circle.
      The bass clef-shaped outdoor stage is adjacent to the Pottle Music Building. The performance is free. 
      A total of 18 students of clarinet professor Deborah Andrus will perform quartets and duets for clarinet and bass clarinet by Bach, Grundman, Humperdink, Berlin and Gershwin.
      Students are David Jack, Amite; Brittney O'Neal and Jennifer Davis, Denham Springs; Marci Brister, Springfield; Lauren Pertuis, Mandeville; Amanda Hinton, Slidell; Rebecca Brogan, Ryan LeBlanc and Cory Fontenot, Prairieville; Brandon Stansbury, New Orleans; Tiffany Trahan, Houma; Amy Adams, Marrero; Candice Louque and Erika Metge, Lutcher; Val Laird, Pearl, Miss.; Dawn McKenzie, McComb, Miss; Brandon Skalican, Reynoldsburg, Ohio; Alexandre Negruta, Kishiniev, Moldova.
      Andrus said the concert will move to the Pottle Music Building Auditorium if it rains.
