SLU CONCERT BAND TO PERFORM MAY 6
     HAMMOND -- The Southeastern Louisiana University Concert Band will perform at
7:30 p.m., May 6, at the Ralph R. Pottle Music Building Auditorium.
     The free concert will be the last conducted by Southeastern director of bands Frank
Dubuy, who is moving to Arizona.
     The concert will feature Brennan Arceneaux of Hammond performing Philip Sparke's
"Fantasy" for euphonium and concert band. Dubuy will conduct William Shumann's "George
Washington's Bridge."
     Student conductors will be Matthew McLean of Baton Rouge, Kristen Kean of
Lexington, Mass., David Petit of Luling, Alexandre Reshetnichenko of Kishinev, Moldova, Joe
Daigle of Baton Rouge and Marcia Lyons of Chalmette.
