TICKETS ON SALE FOR FESTIVE "FEAST OF CAROLS"
     HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University's music department and Concert
Choir and the Hammond Regional Arts Center will again sponsor the "Feast of Carols," a
holiday dinner and entertainment in the style of "Merrie Olde England," Dec. 11-12. 
     The gala evening will be held this year in the newly renovated auditorium of the Eastside
School Apartments on Orange Street between Morris and Thomas in downtown Hammond.
     The traditional holiday menu will include a festive toast from the wassail bowl and
processions of the boar's head and a flaming pudding. Activities will be highlighted by
traditionally costumed strolling singers, musicians, jugglers, jesters, fanfares, processions and
period dancing. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and festivities will begin at 7 p.m.
     Reserved seat tickets can be purchased for $40 each from the Hammond Regional Arts
Center, 217 E. Thomas, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday-Friday (504-542-7114.)
