SLU SPONSORS BUSINESS LOAN PROPOSAL SEMINAR
     HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University's Small Business Development
Center and the Greater Denham Springs Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a seminar, "How to
Write an Effective Business Loan Proposal," September 2.
     The seminar, designed to teach potential and existing business owners how to obtain a
business loan from a bank or through the Small Business Administration, is scheduled for 9-
11:30 a.m. in the Denham Springs City Hall conference room.
     Topics will include the business plan and loan proposal, financial statements and needs,
working capital, general bank requirements and government loan programs.
     The seminar costs $10 for chamber members and $15 for non-members. To register, call
