SLU COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES HONORS TOP STUDENTS
HAMMOND Communication major Misty D. Baker of Bristol, Va., is the recipient of
the 2001 Dean's Award, the top honor of Southeastern Louisiana University 's College of Arts
and Sciences.
Baker was among the students recognized at the college's annual honors convocation on
May 2. The college also announced departmental honors and scholarships and new members of
the honor societies Phi Kappa Phi, and the Thirteen Club.
Departmental award winners and scholarship recipients were:
Ponchatoula Quincy Robertson, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Physics; Teresa
Guagliardo, Outstanding Graduating Senior in Mathematics
