READY FOR YOUNG VISITORS FROM FRANCE – The city of Hammond and
Southeastern Louisiana University are looking forward to the April 22-May
4 visit of more than two dozen young men and women from Hammond’s French
“twin city,” Jouars-Pontchartrain. During the 10-day stay, the young visitors’
activities will include visits to local institutions such as Hammond High
School and Southeastern. This summer, 13 Southeastern students will make
a return visit, staying at the students’ high school in Jouars-Pontchartrain.
