MAY 12 ‘SOUTHERN NIGHTS’ MOVES TO CLAIBORNE BUILDING
HAMMOND – “Southern Nights,”
an event scheduled Wednesday, May 12, and designed to bring together business
leaders from the Florida Parishes and elected officials, has been moved
because of the possibility of inclement weather from the Governor’s Mansion
to the main floor of the Claiborne Building in Baton Rouge.
Time of the event remains 6-8
p.m. The Claiborne Building is located at 1201 North Third Street, one
block from the State Capitol. Parking is available in the garage adjacent
to the building.
Sponsored by the Southeastern
Louisiana University Alumni Association and 10 chambers of commerce in
St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston and Washington parishes, the event
is open to members of the chambers and Southeastern alumni and friends.
Tickets are required for security reasons and can be obtained from the
chambers of commerce in those parishes or the Southeastern Alumni Association
in Hammond
Fourteen area restaurants are
providing food for the event; live entertainment is by Redline and guitarist
Jimmy Polston.
Additional information is available
from the Southeastern Alumni Association, 1-800-SLU- ALUM. |
