SOUTHEASTERN DANCE TO HOLD AUDITIONS
HAMMOND Auditions for Southeastern Louisiana University dance production of
"Sleepwalker Nocturne" will be held May 20 and 21, from 2. to 4 p.m. in the Kinesiology and
Health Studies Building dance studio, room 153.
Forty college-age dancers will be needed for the October 30 production, scheduled for 7:30
p.m. at the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts. "Sleepwalker Nocturne" will the dance
program's contribution to Fanfare, the university's annual October festival of the arts, humanities
and sciences.
"'Sleepwalker Nocturne' is a tale of a woman's journey through the waking and dreaming
realms, through life and death, and her attempts to hold on to love no matter the obstacles," said
Martie Fellom, director of Southeastern's dance program.
Written by Alan Marsh, the modern dance production will be choreographed by
Southeastern students Ashley Roberts of Slidell, Tracy Noble of Hammond, and Jessica Lee of
Kentwood.
Those auditioning are encouraged to not wear baggy clothing. For more information, call
