Sherman, M.D. Memorial Scholarship to Southeastern Louisiana University chemistry major Garland Anderson of Hammond. The Sherman family endowed the scholarship in memory of the late Dr. William Sherman of Ponchatoula, a 1971 Southeastern graduate, who was killed in an automobile accident in 1976.
