SOUTHEASTERN PHI KAPPA PHI INITIATES (BATON ROUGE AREA) – Trent Anthony LeBoeuf, a junior nursing major from Gonzales, left, and Shannon B. Harden a senior sociology major from Baton Rouge, were among the Southeastern Louisiana University students, faculty and staff recently initiated into the prestigious national honor society, Phi Kappa Phi. 

SOUTHEASTERN PHI KAPPA PHI INITIATES (VACHERIE) –  Jocyntia Marie Banner of Vacherie, a Southeastern Louisiana University graduate student in Organizational Communication, was among the Southeastern students, faculty and staff recently initiated into the prestigious national honor society, Phi Kappa Phi.

SOUTHEASTERN PHI KAPPA PHI INITIATES (CHALMETTE) –  James Edward Moeller of Chalmette, a junior majoring in nursing at Southeastern Louisiana University, was among the Southeastern students, faculty and staff recently initiated into the prestigious national honor society, Phi Kappa Phi.

SOUTHEASTERN PHI KAPPA PHI INITIATES (HARVEY) – Kevin Salas Estoque of Harvey, a graduate student in music performance at Southeastern Louisiana University, was among the Southeastern students, faculty and staff recently initiated into the prestigious national honor society, Phi Kappa Phi.

SOUTHEASTERN PHI KAPPA PHI INITIATES (OUT OF STATE) –  Rachel Ann Horton of Mena, Ark., left, and Jacqueline Monte Dillon of Katy, Texas, were among the Southeastern Louisiana University students, faculty and staff recently initiated into the prestigious national honor society, Phi Kappa Phi. Both are psychology graduate students.

SOUTHEASTERN STUDENTS INDUCTED INTO NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
      HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University has inducted 33 students into its chapter of the prestigious national honor society, Phi Kappa Phi. 
      To be considered for membership in Phi Kappa Phi, a student must be in the top ten percent of the senior or graduate class or a second-semester junior in the top 7.5 percent of his/her class. Sound character is a supporting criterion. Faculty and alumni are chosen for outstanding contributions to their fields.
      The spring 2003 initiates included three members of the Southeastern faculty, Bonnie Lewis, associate professor of sociology; Mary White, associate professor of biological sciences, Hammond; and Bonnie Juvé Meeker, professor of nursing and health sciences, Baton Rouge. Staff members chosen for Phi Kappa Phi were Community Health Outreach Coordinator Evelyn Socorro Jimenez, Mandeville, and Director of Alumni Affairs Kathy Pittman, Hammond.
      Graduate initiates are: 
      ABITA SPRINGS – Dena Anette Penton, Education and Human Development. 
      BOGALUSA – Janice Hattox Cox, Education and Human Development.
      COVINGTON – Christopher Alton Drake, Business and Technology;  Lorraine Colburn Brennecke, Education and Human Development; Terrilyn Theriot Smith, Education and Human Development.
