News release Public Information Office  SLU 10880   Hammond, LA 70402   phone: 985-549-2341   fax: 985-549-2061 publicinfo@selu.edu Spring 2004 news releases Public Information home News archive Contact: Christina Chapple Date: 11/1/04   SOUTHEASTERN INVITES JACKSONVILLE ALUMNI TO TAILGATING BEFORE LIONS-JACKSONVILLE UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL GAME      HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni Association is inviting Jacksonville area alumni and friends to pre-game and tailgate parties in conjunction with the Nov. 6 Lions-Jacksonville University football game in Jacksonville.      Southeastern Alumni Director Kathy Pittman said the Alumni Association will host a pre-game party from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 in the Sail Ballroom of the Radisson Riverwalk Hotel, 1515 Prudential Drive. The event will feature free hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.      From 10-noon on the day of the game, Saturday, Nov. 6, the Alumni Association will also host a free tailgate party on the grounds of the College of Lifelong Learning, 3105 North University Boulevard.
