News release Public Information Office   SLU 10880   Hammond, LA 70402   phone: 985-549-2341   fax: 985-549-2061 publicinfo@selu.edu     www.selu.edu/news Contact: Christina Chapple Date: 12/16/02   HIGH SCHOOL MUSICIANS ATTEND ANNUAL SLU HONOR BAND FESTIVAL       HAMMOND -- A total of 125 students from 28 southeast Louisiana high schools participated in Southeastern Louisiana University’s 16th annual High School Honor Band Festival, December 6-8.       Chosen as members of the Southeastern High School Honors Wind Symphony and Honors Wind Ensemble, the student musicians presented a special concert at Pottle Music Building Auditorium on December 7.       The Honors Wind Ensemble was conducted by Scott A. Jones, director of instrumental music at Apple Valley High School in Apple Valley, Minn., with Mark D.
