SOUTHEASTERN GOSPEL ENSEMBLE PERFORMS THURSDAY AT GREENFIELD BAPTIST
CHURCH
HAMMOND -- The Southeastern
Louisiana University Department of Music and Dramatic Arts' Gospel Ensemble,
directed by Kenya Lawrence, will present a concert of spirituals and contemporary
gospel works at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 5, at the Greenfield Baptist Church.
Lawrence said the concert,
which will also feature liturgical dance and original compositions by the
ensemble's artist-composer Jan Youngblood, a Southeastern alumnus, is free
to the public. The Hammond church is located at 110 J.W. Davis Drive.
