"SPRING AFTERNOON" AT TICKFAW STATE PARK   Southeastern Louisiana
University art professor Gail Hood's acrylic on canvas painting shows how she saw a vista at the
Tickfaw State Park on a "Spring Afternoon."

ARTIST AND CAMERA   Southeastern Louisiana University art professor Gail Hood of
Covington sets up her vintage Crown Graphic camera on one of the boardwalks at Tickfaw State
Park. An exhibit of Hood's paintings and photographs will be on display at Southeastern's Sims
Memorial Library from March 12-April 12. The exhibit opens with a reception from 4-6 p.m. on
March 12.
