      HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University’s Gamma Beta Phi Honor and Service Society is hosting a special raffle for New Orleans “get away” trips to help fund the scholarship established in memory of Southeastern employee Sandy Goodwin.
      Goodwin, who died in 2002, was an honorary member of Gamma Beta Phi as well as a long-time secretary for the office of Leadership Development/Student Activities. She was known for her enthusiastic support of the university and its students.  
      Tickets can be purchased from Gamma Beta Phi members or in the Leadership
Development/Student Activities office, War Memorial Student Union room 110. They will also be available at the university’s April 7 Strawberry Jubilee celebration  in the Student Union park.    The grand prize, valued at $550, includes three nights at the Hotel Monteleone; lunch for two at the New Orleans School of Cooking; and two tickets each for the Conti Wax Museum, the Cabildo, the Presbytere, and a cruise on the riverboat “Natchez.” 
      Additional prizes are:
      -- Second prize : two nights at the Holiday Inn-French Quarter; $20 gift certificate to Bubba Gump Shrimp Company; two tickets each to Madame John's Legacy and the 1850 House. 
      -- Third prize: two nights at Days Inn-Canal, two tickets to the Old U.S. Mint Museum, and a Louisiana State Museum poster. 
      -- Fourth prize: one night at the Fairmont Hotel, and four tickets (two adults/two children) to the Aquarium of the Americas. 
      -- Fifth prize: one night at the Drury Hotel, and four tickets (two adults/two children) to the Audubon Zoo.
