| TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR FE-LIONS’ JAN. 24 CHAMPAGNE
BINGO
HAMMOND -- Tickets are still available for the Southeastern Louisiana University FE-Lions’ Champagne Bingo scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Jan. 24, at Twelve Oaks. The event kicks off the FE-Lions January fund-raising activities for the Southeastern football program. Along with bingo games featuring cash prizes, Champagne Bingo participants will enjoy champagne, hors d’oeuvres and a light lunch served by Southeastern Lion football players. Door prizes will be awarded and a silent auction will feature items such as a day of yard work provided by a Southeastern fraternity, a children’s party with the Southeastern cheerleaders, and computer lessons. Lions head football coach Hal Mumme will be the special guest. Tickets, $25 per person, are available at the Southeastern Alumni Center, Bayou Booksellers and Kwik Kopy in Hammond; Margaret Hawkins Photo Studio in Ponchatoula; and Lanny Murrell Jewelers in Amite.
