Faculty Senate Resolution 2004-2005-9

Thanks to the Student Government Association

WHEREAS first impressions make lasting impressions, and

WHEREAS the University’s former welcome signage was decades old and nondescript.

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED THAT the Faculty Senate wishes to express its gratitude to the Student Government Association, under the leadership of President Brett Bova, for its appropriation of $100,000 for the new welcoming signage to the University. This signage will serve to enhance the image of the institution to the faculty, staff, students, and alumni of and visitors to Southeastern Louisiana University. As such, this investment of student dollars should pay positive dividends for years to come.
