Whereas Faculty and Staff parking spots have recently been re-assigned for student parking; and
Whereas these changes have been carried out in the middle of the academic year, which invariably causes confusion, as the affected areas cannot be in sync with published parking regulations; and
Whereas these changes have been carried out without following the prescribed procedures;
be it therefore resolved that the Faculty Senate request that these parking spaces be returned to the Faculty and Staff designation; and
be it therefore FURTHER resolved that the Faculty Senate recommend that all future parking area changes be taken with appropriate levels of faculty input and that such changes be well-publicized to all in the Southeastern community.
