WHEREAS students and other non-faculty continue to park in faculty/staff designated spaces, and

WHEREAS insufficient parking spaces on the SLU campus continues to be a problem, and

WHEREAS faculty/staff parking in designated faculty/staff spots is becoming increasingly more difficult, and

WHEREAS some faculty/staff are unable to get to class on time due to unavailable faculty/staff parking,

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Faculty Senate of Southeastern Louisiana University endorse faculty/staff parking in student parking zones until additional faculty/staff spaces become available, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT administration develop a plan to address insufficient faculty/staff parking.
